How bad is it? Anytime you litter the website of Asia’s longest running pay-for-play league with Adsense, you know there is something wrong. More crap here and here. It is that bad.
Give the site to Solar Entertainment? The BTV site also needs a lot of work, but at least it doesn’t look like it was designed on Microsoft Word. In fairness to their capabilities, aside from a few articles by some notable people in Solar Sports, it’s obvious that the site’s main function is to provide programming schedules only.
Judging from their coverage of the PBA draft, I am very optimistic that it’s only a matter of time before they do a People’s […]

In today’s world of Friendster Facebook pages, Blogspot diaries, and Multiply accounts, at what point do you say no to an advertiser?
If this particular execution was being carried out by a personal blog, I would understand. But for Pinoyexchange to allow their site to be defaced by a single advertiser? I don’t know how much exactly Nokia paid for this, but c’mon, I’ve always thought Pinoyexchange was better (and definitely bigger) than that.
While Internet advertising is still in its infancy in the Philippines, I’ll make it a point to do my part (through this blog) in ridding the online space of this already vicious cycle. Expect me to blow […]

To a lot of people, it may seem boring blah blah blah… or the whole health is wealth thing is overrated. But if you think about it even more, do you really want to worry about your health several years down the line?
Not all doctors look like Meredith Grey, unfortunately.
You see, I grew up in a household where there was food was food on the table 24/7. There was too much of it in fact, that even if I was a very active kid growing up, I never got to experience how it felt to have a flat midsection. My mom […]

Good riddance.
Here are a few things about the cover.

White text on white background in some parts of the cover.
They may have overdone the accessories a bit with those gigantic earrings. They take too much attention away from Miriam’s eyes and body.
Miriam Quiambao falls into the “Cindy Kurleto” category. They’re both tall and sexy, but lack the top heaviness to warrant a two piece outfit. It would have made more sense for her to assume a full body stance so she could showcase those long limbs of hers.
Also Regarding Miriam Quiambao, her name should have been placed at the top left instead […]

Or so the DOJ says.
“Accordingly, having been born on February 9, 1985, of a Filipino mother makes Gabriel Daniel Norwood, a Filipino citizen under Sec. 1(2) of Article 3 of the 1973 Constitution which declares as citizens of the Philippines those whose fathers or mothers are citizens of the Philippines at the time of their birth,” he said.
Full article can be found here.

My opinion? After making him play in an Olympic qualifying tournament as a Pinoy a few months back, this was the only way to go. After settling on Devance by default in a very lean 2007 PBA draft, Norwood may very well be the franchise player Welcoat is looking for.
For the PBA’s sake (and their own) though, I hope the Welcoat management surrounds him with all the support he needs. I’d sure hate to see versatility like that go to waste.
