They may have overdone the accessories a bit with those gigantic earrings. They take too much attention away from Miriam’s eyes and body.
Miriam Quiambao falls into the “Cindy Kurleto” category. They’re both tall and sexy, but lack the top heaviness to warrant a two piece outfit. It would have made more sense for her to assume a full body stance so she could showcase those long limbs of hers.

For the uninitiated, I just started my own beauty blog. Yes, another beauty blog. I used to keep everything in my personal multiply site until I was not able to access my own multiply site as another user due to “…high traffic. Please try again later.” I’ve just moved most of my entries in Wordpress but I to have upload lots of detailed photos for my make-up tutorials.

Greetings everybody! I am Monica and I humbly ask for the approval to get a free no ads web host from LordOfTheBoard =)

Although my life is pretty colorful, I don’t intend to just talk about that. In fact, if not for the wonderful people I’ve gotten to know coming from all walks of life, there wouldn’t be anything special to talk about me or my life. I believe it’s people around me who make me interesting; people from my community, from my family and friends who I grew up with, and people I’ve worked with in my profession… these are the people who helped shape who I am, and they are my inspiration for sharing my thoughts and my views in this little space on the web.

Once in awhile I may talk about my interests… like adventures I have with my laptop or maybe the latest web technologies which I think are worth the extra attention. But for the most part, I’d like to share the insights of the one who has influenced me greatly in most of my views… my brother, Johanne. If not for him, I’d probably have a limited interest revolving around computers. But because of my brother, I’ve gotten a deep appreciation for the pinnacle of motor racing, Formula 1–and I’m not just talking about knowing the different teams and their drivers, I’m talking about understanding it’s rich history and the lessons you’ll learn from the drivers, ever since the official Formula 1 began in 1950.

And because of my brother, gaming is not just about playing games anymore, at least for me. There are so many aspects about video games that describe popular culture and other sociological issues–even political, and so much philosophy you can learn from it… lessons in life that are worth discussing! These insights coming from my little (–well, younger) brother who I used to do feet-fights with =P Who would’ve thought he’d turn out to be quite the modern day philosopher.

But there’s one common interest my brother and I share that sort of runs in the family… our appreciation for Music! We may have different preferences in music, but our common preference is Jazz and we like the same artists =) thanks to our dad who is our greatest influence in the music that we listen to and play as a band (we have a family band by the way).

With so many things I can talk about, it’s really hard to keep a single focus in this blog. One thing I guarantee though, it’s going to be interesting!

With all of the blogs present in the world today, it’s very hard to pick a gem out of the millions of people who openly publish their thoughts in the web at this very moment. Almost everyone wants to be heard, and everyone seems to assume the role of a listener (or, in this case, a reader) to the millions and millions of people waiting for their sentiments to be read. Ergo, a lot of people present their sentiments, whatever nature they may be, in the form of a blog post.

I am just one of the writers who take part in sharing to the world the things that happen to me in my everyday life. However, I do not only share as I want to, since I believe that although blogging is a form of catharsis for everyone, I still think that when one blogs, one should share an opinion which is worthy for everyone to read. A blogger shares his thoughts with the world, and when these thoughts are made public, one influences his readers with the thoughts that he shares.

Contrary to some of the bloggers who just randomly type their daily routines (I oftentimes see people typing, “I took a bath at nine, then I dressed up and put on my favorite perfume. I met up this Mr. this and that” you know the point), I make it a point that when I share something with the world, I share something meaningful about me which readers will enjoy. Just like the multitude of articles that we find in the newspapers or journals which share something meaningful about their authors, I too am like them. Yes, I am a writer who wants to share something to the crowd, and I want my reflective thoughts to reach them deep in their emotional cores.
