I’m a firm believer in signs.
Think going into a one way street at one in the morning, only to get pulled over by cops who were coincidentally manning the area at such an ungodly hour. Sign of ignorance on my part.
And all those late night get-togethers that always seem to push through? Don’t you just love it when those push through more often than those that are planned weeks ahead of schedule?
Me and a few friends were on our way to the beach years ago when we decided to go to Baguio instead. Even if all of us had sun and sand in mind, and the tropical outfits to go with it, the sign pointing north just seemed more appealing.
Simple as it may seem, it reminds me of the other crossroads that have defined my life.

I know it’s not in the best interest of this blog to put stuff like this up, but really, is this how big Hello Kitty is in Japan?
Can you imagine sitting in a Hello Kitty seat, while being handed over a Hello Kitty serving of Hello Kitty soup in your own Hello Kitty bowl, and using your cute little Hello Kitty spoon? Bah. I just know I wouldn’t want to be seen boarding a plane like this. I’d rather be on this flight right here.

After Neyo, Alicia Keys, and a few other recording superstars, seems like these foreign artists aren’t done with Manila yet. According to an officemate, there’s an ad in the paper today saying Rihanna’s squeeze Chris Brown is coming to Manila. I still would have wanted to see Usher, Justin, or Madonna, but Chris Brown is more than good enough.
Here’s hoping Rihanna tags along. And “dance forever ever ever…”. I listen to the song going to work every friggin’ day!
