What to say about Cubao?

Cubao. I lived my childhood on one of the streets named after a city abroad. As such, I have memories to share what was. The now popular Cubao Expo, the venue or more like the “house” of vintage shops, artistry, antiques and much more, was but Markina Shoe Expo to me and my friends. The only vintage shop I knew present was the Thrift Shop since most stores were in the shoe business.
Fast Forward. Suddenly, the place became Cubao Expo or simply Cubao X. And it was happening whatever it was. Change.
Quite interesting to find Cubao becoming a hub of various expressions and I,on peripheral, have witnessed how it blossomed for another generation.
Tip: Visit Cubao X if you want to check out the other stores/gallery at night. They usually open at 3pm onwards. The shoe stores on the other hand sticks to regular store hours.
