The only way Gran Turismo 5 should be played…

… is with this baby right here. The game lives up to being the one and only “real driving simulator” on so many levels. I just don’t know why they didn’t go all the way and make a G35 version for the PS3. Oh well, I’m not complaining. There isn’t any shortage of valid reasons to get a next-gen system anyway.
Well maybe a little — I ain’t got a PS3 or HDTV. At least not yet.

After spending hours playing DDR and some basketball early in the morning, and being saved by God and letting me live another day/life, I now realize how fun it is to wake up in the morning alive and stay happy. So move over sadness, I ain’t goin` to feel you for a very long long long time. I really mean it!
Kahit walang gelpren, kahit walang nagmamahal romantically, kahit d makamove on(?), kahit mahirap lang ako :P, I’m going to be happy from now on

The time has come to take that first step towards fulfilling your long-held dream of building your body into a toned, muscular and athletic physique. A long journey from being a scrawny to a brawny. Perhaps you’ve been waiting for the right time or shooting of excuse after excuse but that won’t cut it any longer. SEO – An EGO Centric Career?

Posted on June 26th, 2008 in Random Thoughts, Me thinks.., Unexpected | No Comments »

I tend to ponder on this idea when I heard two Call Center Agents in the lobby discussing their performance ranking during a break.

Agent 1 (Dreadlock Style. Rugged pants. Faded Bob Marley Shirt. Marlboro cigar): Bro, you think our team will meet the quota for this quarter? I want to be the best this time. We are always on the loosing team and I think this is the moment for us to win. Based from the metrics, I believe we’re fighting to be on top and that will make me ecstatic. Well, at least for this quarter.
Agent 2 (Long Sleeve. Clean Cut. Black Pants) : Yes, I think so. But don’t ignore Team Mambo; their stats are quite relatively high as well. I know for sure we can beat them and this time, glory is ours once we hit the target!
Now, adapting the scenario in the SEO industry is […]

It was the Captain’s Call

Posted on June 25th, 2008 in Rants/Complaints | No Comments »

I was going to do my weekly post as one of the blog contributors over at FHM.com.ph, but I just had to express how I feel about this news item that I came across this morning.

A ranking official of Sulpicio Lines Inc. (SLI) yesterday said that it was the call of the captain of the ill-fated M/V Princess of the Stars whether to push through with the voyage or cancel the trip.
Engineer Edgar Go, SLI senior vice president, yesterday informed the seven-member Board of Marine Inquiry (BMI) that ship captain Florencio Marimon Sr. had the sole prerogative to continue with the voyage or not.

I know that if I were in Sulpicio Lines’ position, I would also do and say everything to save my ass as well, but is this BS the best they could come up with?
I was on my way home from the gym with some officemates last Saturday […]

Men’s Health All-Terrain Race 2008: A Week After

Posted on June 20th, 2008 in Self-Improvement, Sports Personalities & Events | No Comments »

If you think you can go and run in UP every other day for two whole months and be prepared for the Men’s Health All-Terrain Race, you obviously have no idea what you’re getting yourself into (Parang ako! Lol). I ran. I climbed. I *barely* conquered probably the longest run I’ve ever taken in my life.
12km run x (Who knows how many steep hills + Scorching heat of the sun) = An experience I will never ever forget.
