Parade of Warriors

The heat of the sun will mean nothing once you see these modern warriors parading the streets of Iloilo.
Aside from the famous Ati-atihan festival every January, Western Visayas also boasts of its Dinagyang Festival– a weeklong celebration of merriment to honor the Black Sto. Niño.
Rooted in the arrival of the image of Sto. Niño from Cebu City (brought by Fr. Suplico Ebness, OSA to Iloilo), Dinagyang Festival has become a yealry celebration since 1968.
